Here to Guide You

Dementia Caregivers Connection was born from lived experience — the stress, the sleepless nights…, the hard decisions, and the deep love that carries families through.

________ A world where no caregiver walks this road alone.

Built with Heart

No caregiver walks alone

Not Built From Theory — Built From Experience

Everything we do at Dementia Caregivers Connection flows from a single, deeply personal truth: we have been where you are.

A Journey That Began at Home

Pete Lindquist didn't set out to build an organization. He set out to care for someone he loved. Like so many families, he was handed a dementia diagnosis with little guidance and even less community — and he learned how to navigate it, imperfectly and intimately, one day at a time.

What he found along the way was a quiet but urgent gap — not in medical information, but in genuine human connection. In practical wisdom passed from one caregiver to another. In the simple but life-changing knowledge that you are not alone in this.

So he and a team of caregivers created a living community committed to overcoming personal challenges and supporting the enduring love that sustains families through these challenges.

"We wanted to create an oasis where caregivers could find answers in the comfort of their own homes."

— Pete Lindquist

"A world where no caregiver walks this road alone."

Our Mission

Connection, Insight & Relief

To connect dementia caregivers to community, practical insights, and genuine relief — so that no caregiver has to figure this out alone, without a hand to reach for or a voice that understands.

Built by caregivers. For caregivers.

Our Vision

No One Walks Alone

A world where no caregiver walks this road alone — where every family touched by dementia has access to the compassion, knowledge, and community they so deeply deserve.

Because love deserves a community behind it.

Dementia Caregivers Connection isn't a program someone designed from the outside. It is the community Pete Lindquist and his fellow caregivers wish had existed when they needed it most — and it grows stronger with every caregiver who joins it.

Our Team

The People Behind DCC

Dementia Caregivers Connection is guided by people who understand this journey — not just professionally, but personally. We built this community because we needed it too.

Christine Suchor

Christine co-founded DCC and brings both professional expertise and deep personal compassion to her role at DCC. She believes every caregiver deserves a place to feel seen, supported, and less alone — and she's devoted to making that a reality, one connection at a time.

Pete Lindquist

Pete co-founded DCC after navigating his own family's dementia journey. He knows firsthand the isolation caregivers can feel — and he is committed to building the community, and the hope, he once wished had existed for his own family.

Brenda Pearson

Brenda's background in social work and elder care brings a grounding, practical perspective to DCC's mission. She advocates tirelessly for caregiver well-being, ensuring our programs remain rooted in real families' real needs.

Tasha Allyn

Tasha brings her experience in community outreach and nonprofit development to help DCC grow its reach and deepen its impact. She is passionate about ensuring no caregiver — regardless of geography or circumstance — walks this road alone.
